I started working on Oshin in May of 2012. It has taken me eight years to complete it. I’m sure it could’ve been done faster, but I’ve been working on subtitles for a number of other dramas over the years.

First of all I’d like to thank groink whose praises of Oshin led me to pick up this drama. Secondly, I want to thank Avallac’h, XrayMind, acEITe, kagi, and y0ssy for making this project possible and helping out with it.

Finally I’d like to dedicate this project to the founder Ruroshin (2003-2018), and admins MoerkJ and amrayu of D-Addicts. I can’t thank you enough for the community you created. Over the years I’ve met many wonderful people and gained my very best friends there. Thank you so very much!

How do you repay a debt of gratitude…?
